How may we help?

Beachhouse.eu is able to present such a vast and diverse range because we work with various tour operators and private individuals. Because we act as an intermediary, the general terms and conditions of the tour operator or private individual apply. If terms and conditions do apply, you will find them in the final step of the booking process.

What guarantees do you have?

If applicable, guarantees and/or hallmarks applying to every individual holiday home offered by Beachhouse.eu are displayed on the accommodation page and during the booking process. If no guarantees and/or hallmarks are mentioned alongside the price, this is because the tour operator concerned is not linked to any hallmarks, or because you are booking directly with the homeowner. Beach House Travel operates as an intermediary with whom you book your holiday home from one of our associated tour operators or private individuals. Beachhouse.eu does not let any holiday accommodation itself and is therefore not linked to any hallmark. For your convenience we have listed the major hallmarks below.

ANVR, SGR and Calamiteitenfonds

The Dutch Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (= ANVR) looks after the interests of travel industry companies. This allows associated companies to offer various extra guarantees:

  • Companies which are linked to the ANVR are also linked to the Travel Fund Guarantee Foundation (= SGR) and the Calamity fund (= Calamiteitenfonds);
  • If you have any complaints, these can be dealt with by the Travel Dispute Commission;
  • To supplement travel legislation, ANVR travel- and booking conditions apply - these provide the traveller with more clarity and protection;
  • You can check whether your travel agent is an associate on the website of the ANVR;
  • The organiser, not the travel agency, is responsible for the smooth running of your journey - you do, after all, make an agreement with the organiser.

Thuiswinkel Waarborg

The Thuiswinkel Guarantee (= Thuiswinkel Waarborg) is a Dutch hallmark for companies that sell products and/or services to consumers via the internet. Thuiswinkel.org members have general terms and conditions as determined by the consumer association. Thuiswinkel.org members are certified annually and guarantee the efficient handling of complaints and disputes.

With the Thuiswinkel guarantee, web shops commit to the following:

  • Thuiswinkel.org members comply with legislation and regulations and conform to the code of conduct of Thuiswinkel.org;
  • Members provide a secure web shop environment and privacy guarantees;
  • Members grant consumers the right to the independent settling of disputes;
  • Members will comply with the judgements of independent dispute commissions recognised by the consumer association.

DRV represents all tour operators and travel agencies of all sizes and organisational forms, service providers (suppliers of individual services in the travel industry) and foreign tourist boards vis a vis political and business circles inside and outside Germany. It informs the public at large about the advantages of tour operator travel and the professional travel industry.

Feriehusudlejernes Brancheforening (= Association of Danish Holiday House Letters)

By agreeing on rules of good business ethics in the holiday house letting industry concerning both owners and tenants of Danish holiday houses, we wish to show that the tenants be presented with a procedure shaped by professionalism, seriousness as well as good business ethics from the members of the Association of Danish Holiday House Letters.
